Tatum and Bryson had some professional photos taken and they turned out so cute!! Tatum's photographer entered her in a contest with the black and white picture of her clapping her hands and won! The contest was capturing the happiness of a baby! Tatum is always so happy so it was perfect!

Where did the last six months go?

The last six months have flown by. Tatum went from 15th percentile to 50th percentile for height and weight. She is growing so fast I can't believe it!

The boys are in Peter Pan at the Scottsdale Community Theater. They are loving it!

Wow! I can't believe how crazy the last 7 weeks have been. For those of you that don't know Tatum Holl was born August 24th, 2009 by emergency c-section. I was going to the doctor for an ultrasound to check if I had placenta previa. The ultrasound tech took one look at the ultrasound and ran out of the room. Brannon and I knew something was wrong then and we could see on the screen that her heartbeat read 269 beats per minute. The doctor told us to rush to the hospital which was thankfully next door to his office. Tatum was delivered an hour later. Thankfully we went in that day and the doctors and nurses were so quick to act. Once she was born she was still in distress so they air vacced her to a hospital which has a level 3 nursery. She transported well and once there Brannon and Dad gave her a priesthood blessing. She had a very rough night and I know that Heavenly Father's hand was in helping her get through it. I can't believe how much she has been through. They tried to air vac her again to St. Joe's but had to abort because she wasn't tolerating the transport. She kept having SVT's which are basically spikes in your heart rate for which they continued to give her adenosine which basically stops your heart and resets it. Pretty scary stuff. They had to switch her from a ventilator to an oscillator which just basically lets her breath faster and get more air into her lungs. She was on so many medications that they had to get two medication trees to hang them from it kinda looked like two Christmas Trees. Thankfully she is off all of her medications except an oral medication for her heart that doctors think she may stay on for some time. She is breathing normally without any aid. She is on a heart rate monitor to make sure there are no SVT heart spikes and is doing great! We are so proud of her and so thankful for everyone's support and prayers. We couldn't have made it through this difficult time without you.

So we finally got a new computer and I'm hoping to stay more up to date on this whole blogging thing. I can't believe we used our old one for so long it is prehistoric and soooooo slow. Needless to say I'm feeling like this is much more of a fun thing to do now instead of a chore. Hope that feeling lasts:)

Playing Catch Up!

Okay so I really am not good at blogging because I feel like I'm always playing catch up. I do have some cool photos though so without further procrastination:

This is my Friend Iris and I making home made tortillas. These turned out so good you could eat them plain! I know my eyes are closed in the last photo but I think the last photo is better proof that I actually helped in the making :)

This was at an Ugly Sweater Party that we had in December. It was a blast! I think I'm a granny because I actually liked wearing my Ugly Sweater it was quite roomy :) Brannon and Chip had way too much fun!

Halloween!!

Lydia's Birthday Party!! Both my boys are in love with her sibling rivalry already!

Okay, This was a mystery dinner party with an Asian theme and Yes I think Brannon is turning Japanese I really think so! This was a blast.

It's freezing here!! We had to go out and buy warm clothes, what fun!!

The Robbins family was in town and the rockband photo pretty much sums up what we did the whole weekend!! Rock on!

Kaden's Christmas Concert! This was such a cute concert and he was so excited to hang out with his friends on a school night!

So these are just some shots I took while at Kaden's football practice. His first game he had an interception what a player! I think he thought it was his team throwing the ball but we are chalking it up to his first interception:) I'm obsessed with ebaying now! It is an addiction! Brannon's schedule might be changing. His company just announced 150 furloughs off the bottom of the seniority list which means his schedule could be affected. Strange times. I'm just glad I could fill up at the gas station today. Charlotte has been out of gas for over 3 weeks. I had no gas for more than 3 days. You don't realize how much you rely on your car until you don't have it. Hope everyone out there is well!

North Carolina rocks!

This was our trip to Santa Barbara. It was beautiful there. Brannon and I got sunburned. Bryson found an interesting napping spot...

So we made it to North Carolina! We love it. Our ward it awesome. All the people here are so friendly. Here are some pics of us at Latta Plantation fishing and riding a horse...
